Solo Exhibition
I was invited to showcase my work in a solo exhibition at the Northeast Louisiana Delta African-American Heritage Museum as part of their annual celebration of Black History Month. As part of the collection, 'Frida,' a limited edition archival print of an original oil painting, was on view, along with almost thirty others of my work, from February 2nd to February 16th, 2024. Viewers responded positively to the vibrant colors, expressing fond feelings for the subject. Some had no previous knowledge of Kahlo and so were introduced to her through experiencing this work.
